Every year, Gerolsteiner fills more than 650 million litres of mineral water and mineral water-based soft drinks for customers all over the world. This makes Gerolsteiner the most frequently purchased mineral water brand on the German market and the world’s leading carbonated mineral water. Around 3.5 million bottles are filled in 24 hours on eleven bottling lines for glass and PET. Lined up one after the other, this corresponds to a distance of 250 kilometres – i.e. once around Lake Constance.

The Gerolstein-based company currently employs around 778 people, 46 of whom are trainees. The “Water with a Star” is known not only for Gerolsteiner Sprudel and Gerolsteiner Medium, but also for Gerolsteiner Naturell still mineral water. Other products include Gerolsteiner healing water, St. Gero healing water and soft drinks based on Gerolsteiner mineral water.

The data center was equipped with the TiRAX cabinet system fromapraNET. This system is designed as a rolled section construction and can be easily dismantled on site if required. In addition to a very high stability (load capacity 1500 kg), a degree of protection of up to IP 54 is achieved with the both positive and non-positive connection.

The cabinet system “TiRAX” can be configured individually – according to the requirements of modern data centers. This ranges from individual cable management systems with radius limiters for fiber optic cabling to design profiles for optical rack coding.
